Frequently Asked Questions

Dress Code:

  • Golf Attire-Men: Collared golf shirts, mock neck/turtlenecks, tailored Bermuda shorts and walking shorts or pants, soft spike golf shoes are required. All shirts must be tucked in unless a special exemption for medical purposes has been granted by the Golf Chairperson. In that case a camp shirt may be worn tucked in or out. The changing of shoes and/or clothes must be done in the locker room.
  • Golf Attire-Women: Collared golf shirts or sleeveless/collarless golf shirts that cover entire shoulder are required. Tank tops and/or halter tops are not permitted. Soft spike golf shoes are required. Shorts and skorts must be tasteful, specifically designed golf attire for women.
  • Racquet Sports: Athletic clothing, tailored collared shirts and active sportswear (tee shirts prohibited). No open toe shoes, spikes, sandals, or any type of flip flops are permitted.
  • Business Casual - Collared shirts with or without a tie, mock neck/turtleneck, crew neck or V-neck sweaters with appropriate shirt or turtleneck underneath, pants. Sport jackets are encouraged. Dark or light wash dress denim with no rips, tears, holes or frays is permitted. Appropriate closed toe shoes are required.
  • Casual—Shorts or slacks for men, and slacks, shorts, skirts and skorts for women of proper length no higher than mid-thigh may be worn during golf season and golf sponsored events. All shirts must have a collar and be tucked in except for camp shirts (i.e., Tommy Bahama), or shirts with finished bottoms for men and ladies that are designed to be untucked. Dark or light wash dress denim with no rips, tears, holes or frays is permitted. Leather and fabric sandals or non-rubber flip-flops are permitted.
  • Formal—Collared shirts with tie and jacket for men.  For women, dresses, formal pantsuits, or similar tailored attire are required. Denim is not permitted. Boys and girls under the age of (12) are not required to be in formal attire.

Required Attire by Location: 

  • Main Floor—Business casual unless otherwise specified.

  • Member Dining Areas —Golf attire, business casual or casual.

  • Terrace—Golf attire, business casual or casual. Proper racquet sports attire is acceptable during lunch. Caps should be worn with the brim facing forward and are prohibited in all indoor areas except the Golf Shop and locker rooms.

Prohibited Attire:

Tee shirts, tank tops, halter tops, cropped tops (excluding tee shirts poolside), graphic clothing of any type, cut-off shorts, fringed pants, cargo shorts or pants that have gusseted pockets. Denim with rips, tears, holes or frays. Articles of clothing or accessories with slogans, pictures, or political references. Any type of political or campaign apparel espousing support of a political candidate, political party, or movement.

The following is prohibited inside the Clubhouse: Athletic clothing (excluding Racquets attire at lunch); sweat suits or drawstring pants or shorts; golf shoes with hard spikes; rubber flip flops/shoes of any type. Hats and caps are prohibited for Men in all indoor areas except the Golf and Tennis Shops and Locker Rooms. Caps must be worn with their brim facing forward.  

Please Note:

Changing attire in the parking lots, pool area, tennis courts or on the golf course is not permitted.  Please use the locker rooms. Dress may differ for specific events and will be indicated in the event announcement. Children under the age of 5 are exempt from the dress code. The dress code applies to both indoor and outdoor functions.
 

Golf:

NCC does not have tee times. Exceptions include: 4th of July, Memorial Day and Labor Day

First Tee Opens on Weekends & Holidays:

Mondays:

Play may begin at 12:00 PM unless otherwise indicated on the Golf calendar. The driving range is closed.

Tuesday - Sunday Range Hours:

From ½ hour prior to course opening until 1 hour before dusk. 

Can I bring a guest?

You may bring one (1) guest prior to 10:00 am on weekends and Holidays.
